A four week class which teaches the fundamentals of working with clay off the wheel. Each week we will learn a new technique, with a focus on building strong foundations in clay work. This class is suitable for beginners but also those who want to refresh their skills. All supplies are included for use during class. Students are welcome to purchase additional clay for practicing outside of class. Skills covered: Clay preparation, pinching small and large forms, coiling, and slab building.
We will spend the final class glazing our work. Students are encouraged to work on their assignments outside of class time. You will complete 4 separate projects!
Dates: Tuesdays in November (11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11,25)
Time: 10:00-12:00am
Cost: $350 for 4 classes
What to bring: a small notebook or sketchbook, an apron if you have one, and any interesting things you might want to use for texture. Wear clothes you can get dirty.

Please note that cancellations made prior to November 1 will result in a refund minus $50 processing fee, cancellations after November 1 will result in credit towards a future class.
