August: Beginning Wheel Throwing

$350.00

Beginning wheel throwing is perfect for beginners and those refining skills. You’ll learn the ABCs of clay, with a focus on beginning forms such as cylinders, bowls, and mugs. Classes offer individualized instruction in a supportive environment, with all materials provided. Sessions are weekly, allowing skill development. The four week session is structured with the first 3 weeks concentrating on wheel throwing, and the last class will be glazing. You'll leave with crafted pottery and a deeper appreciation for this art form.

Each class is timed for an instructor demo, practice on the wheel, and cleanup. Students are encouraged to practice during studio hours in between classes!

Please read our cancellation/missed class policy prior to registration.

Work must be picked up within 30 days of class. Unclaimed work will be donated to charity. Thanks for understanding.

What to bring: a towel, a small sketchbook, and any snacks or beverages.

Class dates: Thursdays, August 7, 14, 21, and 28

Time: 5:30- 8:00

Level: Beginners

Cost: $350

CANCELLATION POLICY
