Beginning wheel throwing is perfect for beginners and those refining skills. You’ll learn the ABCs of clay, with a focus on beginning forms such as cylinders, bowls, and mugs. Classes offer individualized instruction in a supportive environment, with all materials provided.
This is a 4 session class designed to encourage a flow of working and practice. We will learn centering, throwing cylinders and bowls, trimming, and dip glazing.
Each class is timed for an instructor demo, wheel time, and a 10 minute cleanup. Students are encouraged to practice during studio hours in between classes!

Work must be picked up within 30 days of class. Unclaimed work will be donated to charity. Thanks for understanding.
What to bring: a towel, a small sketchbook, and any snacks or beverages.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We are a small studio with limited staff. Thank you in advance for understanding our class policies. If you cancel one week prior to class, we will refund your registration fee minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations within one week of class will be refunded 50% of the class fee.
If you must miss a class, we are happy to provide you with a make up class with 30 minutes of instructor time. You are welcome to stay and practice.
