A gorgeous project using the method of sgraffito, the art of carving or etching through glaze to reveal the clay underneath. This is a guided project beginning with slabs of clay, application of underglazes and slips, and then carving. Students will be provided with flamingo images to transfer and carve, and you are welcome to sketch your own as well. Work will be available for pickup 3 weeks following class, and we can also ship for an additional fee.
Cost is $100 per person
Time is 12:00-3:00pm
Cancellation Policy: We are happy to offer you a credit towards a future class if cancelled prior to 24 hrs before class. We cannot offer refunds for no shows or day of cancellations due to teacher preparation time. Thank you for understanding!
