Class Title: Handbuilt Ceramic Keepsake Shelf

Description:
In this handbuilding workshop, students will create a unique wall-hanging knick knack shelf using slab construction techniques. We’ll cover rolling slabs, shaping compartments, assembling the structure, and adding decorative textures or small objects to personalize the piece. This project is beginner friendly and a fun way to explore functional ceramic wall art.
Price: $125 per person + $25 materials fee
Class Limit: 12 students
Age Requirement: 13+
Please pay the materials fee in cash when you come to class. THANK YOU!
Materials:
Students will use approximately half a bag of clay each. We’ll offer white stoneware and one colored clay option (red/brown depending on studio availability). Finished pieces will remain at the studio after class for glazing and firing and will be available for pickup 3 weeks after firings.
